As darkness falls on Hong Kong, the city’s famed Star Ferry cruises along.  Pictured here from a dock in Kowloon, one of twelve ferries sails southbound across Victoria Harbour onward to Hong Kong Island.  Having been in service since 1888, the Star Ferry has long been a staple for both local commuters and tourists.  While it may not be as efficient as the trains that speed below beneath the water, both the views and the prices are hard to beat.  Indeed, the 26 million people who set sail on the ferry each year can’t be wrong, can they?
