Shot in Kathmandu, Nepal at the Swayambhunath Stupa.
Swayambhunath, one of the more famous (of the many) Buddhist temples in Kathmandu, Nepal, translates to “Sublime Trees.” Indeed, this stupa is perched upon a hill and overlooks the city sprawl, from a perspective above and among the trees. This site however is far more famous for its resident monkeys — holy monkeys, actually — than it is for anything else. Perhaps these monks are looking out for their counterparts…
In any case, here’s a scene of “ordinary” life in Nepal!
