Shot at Rialto Beach in Olympic National Park, Washington.
Olympic National Park, which spans more than 1,400 square miles in the Pacific Northwest, has no shortage of stunning natural beauty. While its mountains are ragged and its rainforests are lush, there’s nothing like watching a Pacific Coast sunset from an otherwise untouched beach. Rialto Beach is remote — getting there from Seattle requires a four hour drive plus time on a ferry — but those who make the trek are rewarded by sights like this one. It’s a favorite spot of The Higher Flyer, and it’s obvious why. The sights are incredible, sure, but because it’s so far from civilization, you’ll seldom have to share this with more than a handful of people.
