Shot in Washington, DC, at the Friendship Archway
Right adjacent to where last week’s photo of the week (“Jump Higher!“) was shot, this week’s edition hones in on a major architectural feature: the Friendship Archway. Used to denote the entrance to a once-bustling Chinatown located in the center of Washington, DC, this monument still stands — over a still-bustling street — as a symbol of the city’s cultural heritage…even if most of the neighborhood’s descendants have moved out to the suburbs.
