Happy belated St. Patrick’s Day – hopefully the world around you matches the outfits around you and (emerald) green abounds! For those who “observe the holiday,” this is a particularly exciting time, as the date functions as an informal start to spring. “We’re coming out of winter!” many revelers will rejoice, often while drinking copious amounts of dark ales and whiskeys and the like. No judgment here of course, but with better/warmer weather arriving after a dreary winter, there’s plenty for everyone outside too. Better yet, this Sunday (March 20, 2022) marks the Vernal Equinox – or the official first day of spring – meaning if it still feels like winter where you are, better times are coming eventually… unless of course you live in the Southern Hemisphere!

For what it’s worth, this also seems like the start of the post-COVID reawakening. Countries are opening up left and right and restrictions are falling most everywhere, and while that’s the greatest cause for celebration, we’ve been here before many times before. I’m optimistic for the coming months, but…

As always, stay safe and hang in there!
