It’s hard to believe that it’s April already, and the new month brings warmer temperatures — Spring is coming! — and renewed optimism for a swift recovery from the dark, COVID-induced winter. As of today, April 2, 2021, the Center for Disease Control issued guidance indicating that fully vaccinated higher flyers can take trips without significant risk to themselves. What happy, encouraging news, and let’s hope that this is the first stage of a blossoming travel season. Yes, there’s still a ways to go, especially as parts of Europe are still under lockdown and the immediate future in the United States remains hazy as cases rise in some parts of it, but fortunately more flowers — both literal and metaphorical — will continue blooming with time. Keep hanging in there until things improve fully!
To those who observe it: happy Easter, and happy Passover! May your holiday(s) be safe, healthy, and joyous.
